About our Lace Group

The goals of our group are to make lace, share what we know about making lace, and be a support group for each other.  We are very informal at our meetings.

We would love to have you join us if you’re in the area.

We are a group of ladies from all over Northwest Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri.  In our group, members have all levels of abilities and a wide variety of interests in lace.  Some of our members are beginners, and we help and advise them as they bring their problems to the group.

We are currently working on a display for the Lobby of the Arts Center of the Ozarks where we meet.  It’s been fun to make lace to put into a quilt like “picture”.    While this project is moving along, we are also making the lace which gives each of us joy.  Lately we have had people working on Torchon bookmarks, tatting, needle lace, colored lace, Binche, Flanders and Milanese laces.  We hope to have as many types of lace as possible, and as look good, represented in our display.

I think it is great that we now have a web site. It will be interesting to see
what we can do with it in the future. Thanks for your work, Becky!!

I think there might be a problem with the link from IOLI. When I use the bookmark from the address you gave me it works fine. When I try to use the link on the IOLI website, I don’t get to this site and can’t find the right link from the woodpress site to get here. Otherwise it is great.

I am looking for the “Old Tree” pattern that Lenka used to have as a free download on her website. She said she no longer has it, but that various lace guilds do. Do you have access to it? Thanks for your help.

    Hi,
I live in Northwest Arkansas. My friend and I are wanting to learn to tat and wondered if anyone in your group ever offers lessons of any kind for beginners. We enjoy all sorts of crafts, but have not yet learned to tat. Please let me hear from you….Teresa
